Frequently asked questions

Will I lose Google rankings during the migration?

Not if the redirect map is complete and 301s (not 302s) are used. Every Blogger URL — including label pages, archive pages, and image URLs — must send Googlebot to the matching WordPress URL. What happens to my custom domain during the switch?

What about images hosted on Blogger?

Can I keep AdSense running during the migration?

Yes. Your AdSense account is tied to your Google account, not to Blogger. We install AdSense on the new WordPress site the same day of cutover so revenue continuity is preserved. If you want to move to Mediavine, Ezoic, or AdThrive later, WordPress unlocks all of them (Blogger does not).

What if my domain is registered inside Google (Blogger custom domain)?
